Kate Hughes
Kate is a Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience caring for women across all ages. She is passionate about helping women achieve their health goals and live their best lives. Kate has a chronic illness herself and understands the challenges that women with chronic illness face. She is committed to providing personalized, whole-person care that addresses the root cause of health problems.
Kate is a Magna Cum Lauda graduate from the University of Central Florida and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health, American Academy of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Global Pelvic Health Alliance, and Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honors Society. She has extensive training and experience managing endocrine conditions such as PCOS, insulin resistance, hypothyroidism, and Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. She also has extensive experience in the assessment and management of pelvic floor dysfunction. Over the last three years Kate has received specialized training and resources for managing patients with Long-COVID and successfully helped dozens achieve optimal health after the virus. Kate is trained to promote health and quality of life for menopausal and peri-menopausal women by ensuring optimal hormone levels. She is a compassionate, engaged provider that promotes a team approach to patient care.
In her free time, Kate enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons. She also loves hiking, photography, podcasts, and coffee!
Tara Maloof
Tara Maloof, our Office Manager, brings a unique blend of academic expertise and personal experience to her role.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Linguistics from Middlebury College, which has honed her skills in organization and communication. Tara also has extensive personal experience with Lyme Disease, Mold Illness, and Hashimoto’s. Having navigated and overcome these health challenges in her own life, she is passionate about supporting patients facing similar situations.
In her free time she enjoys the beach, reading, and spending time with family.
